The On-Line Theory Test questions cover a variety of topics relating to road safety. As in the real 50 question test, this practice test is designed to use a mix of questions drawn from all sections of the question bank to test your knowledge.
Most questions will only require ONE answer out of four possible answer options. To change your answer simply select a different answer.
Some of the questions will ask for TWO or more answers from a selection. To change your answer(s), click again in the answer selection box to deselect the answer and then select your revised choice.
Some of the questions will show you a picture to test your knowledge of traffic signs, or to test your ability to recognise a hazard.
Look at all the questions carefully before selecting the answer(s) you think are correct.

This mock theory test is maintained by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA), based in Great Britain. Every care is taken to ensure that all questions are relevant to Northern Ireland but we cannot guarantee that this is always the case.
Scoring a pass on this practice test does not guarantee a pass when you take the real theory test under proper exam conditions.
To assist in preparation for this practice test and the real test, The Official Theory Test Guides for each Category of test have been compiled by DSA and printed by The Stationery Office.
