Please note: Waiting times for Part 2 and Part 3 tests can fluctuate and please bear in mind that it could be some weeks from date of application before you get a test date. You should make allowance for this when applying for the test.
To pay an ADI fee you will need:
- your Driving licence number
- your PDI number
- your D.O.B
- a valid debit or credit card for payment (Visa, Mastercard, Delta and Switch/Maestro cards are accepted)

To pay online, you need a valid credit or debit card. We use the same level of security as banks and other financial institutions to protect your personal details during and after the transaction.
All payments on this site are in pounds sterling.

Security
We are fully committed to keeping your personal details safe and we are using secure server software to encrypt (put into code) your personal information. The level of encryption used is in line with security requirements and industry standards.
To access secure (https) pages on this site, you will need a 40-bit SSL enabled browser. The secure transaction pages for our online services need 128-bit encryption provided as standard in browsers such as Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or later, Netscape 4.7 or later, etc.
Service Availability
You can normally pay ADI fees online 24 hours a day, every day. However during periods of system maintenance the service may be unavailable for short periods of time.

You may pay all ADI fees by post. You will need to complete an application form and send it with the appropriate fee to Business Support Unit, ADI Section, DVA, Balmoral Road, Belfast, BT12 6QL.

You may pay any ADI fee in person. You will need to complete an application form and take it with the appropriate fee to any DVA test centre.
The Belfast centre is open for payments from 9.00 to 4.00, Monday to Friday.
All other centres are open from 8.45 to 12.30 and 1.15 to 4.00, Monday to Friday.
